As you know I have been trying to workout some kinks with my WP and server and implement your Intrepid “green” theme for a test run before getting a full custom job done by you and your team.
I think this video might have identified one thing.. I did not do a zipped file upload, I unzipped it and loaded it via FTP drag and drop… I would be surprised if that is my issue, but it could be and would be an answer to my prayers.
Thanks for this video… it re-affirms why I want to use Intrepid to get things going as I was about to give up solving my issues.

Shingo, I think WP 2.9.2 is causing some challenges with INtrepid when I flip it to green. Could that be the problem as I think I see from the video its made and demo with WP 2.9.1?
If so what can I do to get it working?
OR… since I have my blog, server, IT crew, etc… what would it cost to get a GREEN version of NOLAtrainer.com or TopFatLossTrainer.com?

Hey Patrick, good to hear from you. Look for “more” icon when you are editing your post. You need to insert a line break there. It’s WP’s built in feature… also what do you mean by “moving dates”? The dates on the side of your post are actually hard coded and not removable under the current version. Your customized Intrepidity theme looks awesome btw

I am being challeged on 2 more issues right now.
My header image, “logo” is appearing all different sizes. Its perfect on the home page… too small on the other pages and when using a landing page it is HUGE… off the screen.
Can I make and use different headers for different landing pages? Or do I always need to use the same logo for all pages?
If I need to use the same logo, how can we fix the sizing issue from page to page, for example…

sorry, I’m a pain… I also noticed that on many of my pages the “Comments” are missing and I cannot add comments, and some of my members are confused, especially on the “CONTACT” page.

Great template. If I can make this one work I suspect I’ll have several customized template jobs to ask of your site.
The issue I have now is (wp 2.9.2 on godaddy) on the blue theme on the Optin setup. Theres nothing below 4. Optin HTML code. Your video shows more options like email that receives the form, etc. Is there anything I can do to get those options? now when the user hits the button no one gets an email, and I don’t think anything happens.
Any help would be appreciated, I like this theme very much….nice work!

I have the exact same problem, optin form doesn’t seem to go anywhere and i don’t have the option of putting an email address. Does this require a plugin or is it a problem with the new wordpress 3? I love this theme, but would very much like some help or advice on how to get the optin form working so that i can start to collect happy users to the website. many thanks,

I downloaded your template, Intrepid, today. I’m so close to having the featured gallery content working. I’ve got the arrows and text, no photos.
I’ve used the link provided from my media source in WP 2.9.2. All I get is the loading symbol in the middle. I’m almost there, love the site.

I’m only having one problem. I can’t seem to get my blog’s home page to summarize my posts instead of fully listing the entire post. It seems like I should be able to do that on the page where you create the post. There’s an EXERPT box where it says you can make a summary, but it doesn’t seem to do anything when I write a summary.
I realize I’m a noob, and it’s likely me not understanding something. Just in case I wanted to ask if this was a known issue or maybe it was intentionally this way.

I don’t see the option for retrieving user emails on my back end. I have a snapshot of what appears on my back end that doesn’t include this particular option as I noticed in your video. Did I do something wrong?
Also, the youtube widget doesn’t seem to be working as well. Help?
